Climate Change Related Socio-economic Sensitivity
Adaptive capacity is related to the income per capita, education, health, life expectation and distant to market. The lowest income per capita are found in the Ferghana Valley and Surkhondarya provinces. The lowest Human Development Index (combining life expectance, education and health) can be found in Surkhondarya and Kaskadarya, followed by the Fergana Valley. As the distance in time-to-market is reasonably good in the eastern half of the country, the highest socio-economic sensitivity and related adaptative capacity can be found in these provinces.
